They fully refunded me for the first tour, so I booked again, and I’m glad I did. Our tour guide was extremely friendly, and gave us photography tips throughout the tour.
They offer a 48 hour cancellation policy, where they’ll give you a full refund if you cancel before then. After this time period, they’ll offer a 50% refund, or let you reschedule your tour if you have a change of plans. If the tour is canceled due to weather, you’re given a full refund as well.
Once you arrive for your tour, they have a large air conditioned waiting room and gift store that sells snacks and drinks. I arrived for my tour an hour early by accident, and they let me join an earlier tour!
Dixie’s Antelope Canyon tours are limited to a maximum of 15 people, and last a little over an hour. Our guide spaced the tour perfectly, so we had plenty of time to take pictures within the canyon. Although there’s stairs and ladders in the canyon, it didn’t feel like an exercise because of the pace we went.
Keep in mind there’s no restrooms at either Dixie’s or Ken’s gift store, but there’s outdoor pit toilets.
Overall, I highly recommend booking with Dixie’s tours. I drove over 4.5 hours from Phoenix to get to Page, and it was worth the time and money spent.

However, their cancellation policy is 72 hours, whereas Dixie’s is 48 hours. This means that you must cancel 3 days before your tour starts, or else you won’t receive a refund. Like Dixie’s, they will still offer you a full refund if your tour happens to be canceled due to weather.
Besides the cancellation policy, they’re a great company to book your tour with. They have a cafe on site where you can pick up coffee or a smoothie after your tour, and they also offer deluxe tours.
On their deluxe tours, they’re limited to a small group, and you’ll get to enjoy Navajo tea and tacos in a hogan (traditional Navajo home) after your tour.
